Aquaponics is a system that combines raising aquatic animals with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) in a symbiotic environment. It can be done on a large scale or on a smaller scale inside the home.

What is hydroponics?   Hydroponics is a system where plants are cultivated in a nutrient-filled water solution. This method of growing is done commercially but can also be adapted for home use. As with anything, there
